SiPMM Alumni

Welcome to the SiPMM Alumni website. This site is dedicated to members of the Alumni, which has been formed by the BBA (with specialisation in Purchasing & Logistics Management) graduates of the Southern Cross University. The Alumni was officially launched on 26 February 2000. The site, maintained by the Alumni Committee, will provide news for all alumni members for effective networking as well as research articles and job placement opportunities.

The Alumni of the Singapore Institute of Purchasing & Materials Management (SIPMM) exists to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship between the Institute/University and its former students and staff. The purpose of the Alumni is to bridge the professionals between our Alumni and to develop it into a worldwide network with the SCU Chapter.

We value our former students and endeavour to support you in gaining the most experience at the Institute/University and your future career.

Objectives

The objectives of the Alumni are as follows :

· To keep members of the Institute updated with news and developments at the University.

· To provide former staff and students with opportunities for professional development and networking with fellow professionals in the similar professions.

· To provide the Alumni with the opportunity to support the University and its future development in ways that are appropriate to them. For example, giving career advices or provide mentoring to current students, attending events, assisting in students’ recruitment, sponsorships, and so on.

· To make membership a positive experience for all by providing services and opportunities that the Alumni genuinely want - and by regularly canvassing their views to ensure this remains the case.
