Welcome
to the SIPMM Alumni website. This
site is dedicated to members of the Alumni, which has been formed by
graduates of the Bachelor
of Business Administration (with specialisation
in Purchasing & Logistics Management) awarded by Southern Cross
University (SCU). The
SIPMM Alumni, officially launched on 26 February 2000, provides a platform
for members to stay in touch with friends and lecturers from the University
through networking forums, roundtable discussions, etc... The
SIPMM Alumni exists to maintain a mutually-beneficial relationship between
the Institute/University and its graduates/staff. The purpose of the SIPMM Alumni is
to bridge the professionals with our Alumni and to develop it into a
worldwide networking hub together with the SCU Chapter. You may wish to know that as a
graduate of the Southern Cross University, you are also a member of the SCU
Alumni. If you have not registered as an SCU Alumnus, please visit www.scu.edu.au/alumni
and register yourself (at no cost). Objectives
of the SIPMM Alumni are as follows: v To keep
members of the
Institute updated with news and developments at the University. v To
provide former staff and graduates with opportunities for professional
development and networking with fellow professionals in the similar
professions. v To
provide the Alumni with the opportunity to support the University and its
future development in any ways that are appropriate to them. For
example, giving career advice, providing mentoring to current students,
attending events, assisting students’ recruitment, getting
sponsorships, and so on. v To make
membership a better experience by providing value-added services and
opportunities that the Alumni genuinely want - and by regularly canvassing
their views to ensure this remains the case. For further enquiries,
