Course Objectives

This course aims to equip senior executives and managers at corporate level, with the knowledge and techniques of advanced purchasing and materials for effective management of their organisations.

Course Structure

This 10-month (165-hour) part-time course comprises 3 modules. Students will undertake three subjects in each of the first two modules and complete a project in the final module.

Applicants should have at least one of the following qualifications:

1.  Diploma awarded by SIPMM ;

2.  Diploma awarded by the Polytechnics ;

3.  Business Diplomas awarded by institutions that are accredited by SIPMM Academic Board.

Those without the above qualifications but have proven management experience may apply for eligibility.

 

Upon successful completion of all examinations and the Industrial Research Project, students will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Purchasing & Materials Management with eighty (80) Competency Merit Points (CMPs), and shall be entitled to use the designatory title ADPMM (SIPMM). Graduates will have advanced standing to other advanced courses and Degree programmes at SIPMM.
