Course Objectives

This course aims to equip junior executives at corporate level as well as those engaged in the functions of logistics management, with the knowledge and techniques of sound operational logistics, financial and quantitative techniques that are applicable to the logistics management function. 

 

Course Structure

This is a 4-month part-time course, comprising 3 subjects with a total of 108 contact hours. Assessment is based on a combination of in-course assignments and a written examination for each subject at the end of the course. 

 

Applicants must be members and should have at least one of the following qualifications :

1.      Minimum G.C.E ‘N’ or G.C.E. ‘O’ Levels with relevant working experience;

2.      Program Certificate in Storekeeping or Program Certificate in Purchasing Skills or Certificate in Import & Export Management awarded by SIPMM;

3.      Other equivalent qualifications.

 

Upon successful completion in both the course and examinations, students will be awarded the Certificate in Logistics Management with twenty-eight (28) Competency Merit Points (CMPs), and shall be entitled to use the designatory title CLM (SIPMM).
