Course Objectives This unique Master’s degree for leaders in the
global business of supply chain management aims to meet
the education needs of participants who wish to advance their careers in supply
chain management, encompassing the specialised areas in purchasing, logistics
and distribution, and of employers who wish to access professional upgrading
for their executive workforce. Course Structure The Master of Supply Chain Management, accredited with the
Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, is offered as a 24-month
part-time course and to be delivered in Trimester Study Mode. The course will be delivered in mixed
external/ online mode augmented by intensive weekend workshops. The course will embody development and
supply to participants of directed study guides accompanied by readings and
other reference materials, online materials and interaction, workshops,
directed use of the internet and work-based projects. Upon successful completion of the Master’s Degree,
180 Competency Merit Points (CMPs) will be awarded, and graduates shall have
advanced standing for the designated SIPMM Competency Awards as either the Accredited Practitioner or Certified Practitioner. Applicants prior to admission to candidature who obtained
equivalent qualifications may be considered for advanced standing on a case-by-case
basis by the University. To be awarded the Master of Supply Chain
Management, students must complete a total of 12 units. Graduates of SCU
BBA (specialising in Purchasing & Logistics Management) need to
